Pet Bed Heating
A pet lies directly on a heating pad for hours at a time, often unsupervised — the safety margin needed here is higher than almost any other consumer heating application.
Unlike a person, a pet can’t always move away from a heating surface that’s running too hot, and won’t tell you if something’s wrong. The heating element itself has to be the safety system.
Why self-limiting behavior matters more here
A pet bed, mat or carrier liner is in continuous, direct contact with an animal for extended periods — often while the owner is out of the room or asleep. A self-regulating PTC element caps its own temperature by physics as it approaches its Curie point, so even under continuous contact and no active monitoring, it can’t run away into an unsafe range. See is a PTC heater safe for the underlying mechanism.

Insulation wrapped type
Thin and flexible enough to build directly into bedding, mats and carrier liners, holding a stable, chew-resistant warm temperature.

- Heated pet beds and mats for cats, dogs and small animals
- Crate and carrier liners for low-voltage, travel-safe warmth
- Nest and incubator heating for breeders and shelters caring for newborn animals
Why flexible construction matters
An insulation-wrapped PTC element conforms to soft bedding shapes rather than requiring a rigid insert, and its low-voltage operation suits battery-powered or 12V pet products as easily as mains-powered ones. See Insulated Heater for construction details, or browse other use cases for related safety-critical applications like pet ICU system heating.
